Ages: 8-17
Spend the summer creating with your hands, exploring natural materials, and discovering the joy of making.
Teralta Art’s Summer Studio Camp offers a hands-on creative experience where young artists learn traditional and contemporary craft practices in a supportive, small-group studio environment. Each day, campers rotate through different art activities designed to build creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills while encouraging self-expression.
What Kids Will Explore
Campers will work with a variety of materials and techniques, including:
Clay & Ceramics — hand-building, sculpting, and surface decoration
Carving — learning safe tool use while shaping natural materials
Rattan Weaving — creating functional and sculptural woven pieces
Natural Body Care Making — crafting lotions and lip balms using natural ingredients
Creative Studio Projects — combining art, design, and imagination
Our approach
At Teralta Art, art-making is more than learning techniques — it is a way to develop patience, focus, and confidence. Campers are encouraged to experiment, make choices, and express their ideas while learning respect for materials, tools, and one another.
Activities are adapted for different ages and skill levels, allowing both beginners and experienced young artists to feel successful and engaged.
